Notations {11-20} is an online art sale exhibited on the occasion of the FAXXI art fair, which will be available only until June 30.
The selected works correspond to my Notations series in which the repetition of a single geometric figure gives way to infinite compositions. The present selection comprises a sequence whose geometry increases over ten consecutive drawings. One by one, each new composition adds a new figure enhancing the surrounding space. Made in graphite pencil or white sticker, their delicacy is accentuated by the gray background that confines them.
Sometimes these figures seem to frame the empty space, while at other times this emptiness frames them back, and vice versa. Container and content, this emptiness extends from a visual experience into an inwardly one. Perplexed upon an image apparently so simple, its ambiguity only leaves us in silence.

All the works belonging to this series are framed with a white aluminum frame and an antique white passepartout. In addition, they have a protective glass to guarantee their conservation. Lastly, each work includes its own certificate of authenticity.
